Suffering from pain, reduced mobility, and other osteoarthritis symptoms?
If you are among the estimated 30 million North Americans suffering from osteoarthritis, new research offers hope. Clinical research shows that a new natural ingredient, natural eggshell membrane (NEM), can help to improve joint pain and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis.
Improvements in pain and flexibility have been noted in two clinical trials in as little as seven days, with improvements in pain reported at 30 days as well, suggesting that pain could be reduced both rapidly and continuously. Study participants did not report any adverse side effects from NEM.
Osteoarthritis, also called degenerative joint disease, occurs when cartilage, a protein substance that acts as a cushion between the bones of the joints, begins to break down. Symptoms include pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility, and can affect any joint in the body. It can be extremely painful, even debilitating, significantly affecting lifestyle and activity level, and can even lead to depression.
Existing treatments for osteoarthritis are typically temporary solutions for the management of pain. Questions abound concerning the efficacy and safety of widely consumed over-the-counter and prescription drugs. Many of these treatments have shown limited effectiveness in randomized, controlled clinical trials and have been shown to have significant side effects after long-term use, including gastrointestinal issues as well as cardiac risks.
Other natural approaches to treatment do exist, but some of them require many months to show results and must be taken several times daily.
While preliminary studies conducted on NEM have so far involved small numbers of participants, many people are excited about the potential for fast pain relief and increased flexibility that NEM has so far exhibited.
When considering natural options for osteoarthritis, remember to keep NEM top of mind.
